CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Certificate expiration: 2 years
We offer courses for all age groups and patient populations which equips students with the knowledge and skills to recognize and to respond cardiac emergencies. This course satisfies OSHA workplace along with other workplace requirements.
AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
This course will teach you how to operate and utilize an AED once you have identified a cardiac emergency. This machine offers one of the best survival rates and the low cost makes it a requirement for businesses and job sites. It’s often taught as part of the CPR course, but we can always familiarize you with it upon request.
First Aid
This course is also offered as part of the CPR course, students will learn about basic first aid skills and splinting, and also become familiar with hemorrhage and direct pressure to control bleeding.

Blended learning
American Red Cross has recently started to offer blended learning courses which allows the student to do the classroom presentation portion from the comfort of their home, then coming in to do the skills validation portion within 30 days.
This allows for busy individuals to conduct the online portion at any time, and then plan ahead for the most convenient skills testing.
This type of course cuts down the time spent in class to approximately 2 hours, and also allows the flexibility of when to do the skills.
